From Aesop to Beatrix Potter and Julia Donaldson, children's authors have always looked to the animal kingdom to entertain and teach. Closer to home, Fisherwood Farm's own Nicki Fisher wrote her first children's book, Take a Look in the Nook to share the magic of her farm animals and especially, her quirky, curious alpacas.

In this workshop, Nicki Fisher will talk about her writing process and her editor, Joanna Norland, will guide participants to write their own animal stories.

And of course, it wouldn't be an afternoon at Fisherwood Farm without tea and scones to follow!
